My Invention
My invention is an integrated circuit test development software.
It allows test development entirely by graphical programming.
It replaces time consuming error prone practice of hand-coding.
It can greatly reduce test development time from 2 months to 1 day.
Today
I believe, costly, inefficient test platforms prevent development of advanced electronic systems.
I believe electronic systems allow technological advancement of humankind.
I believe continued technological advancement is required for survival of our species.
Story
In recent years, IC testing costs have surpassed actual manufacturing costs due increased IC functionality. I have experienced the growing need for advanced test developments personally. I found out inefficient unreliable tests can postpone products. It can cancel years of product developments and waste resources. Or bring companies down and turn bankrupt.
Between 2006-2009, I have worked as microchip designer, test developer in semiconductor industry. I created a test development platform that reduced test development by more than 50%. It was a great feeling to make such a leaping progress. But the real joy was actually using the system. I didn't had to reinvent test setup and development for every new microchip. I didn't had to figure to what the low level hex addresses of various microchips were. It felt like flying and all of those previous problems were way below.
2009 - present, I formed my own company. I took test development to a whole new level. Coding is eliminated and replaced with graphical programming.
